The Bittersweet Designs Dollhouse
The Dollhouse first started with just a thrifted doll closet to be repurposed into shelves for journals. Eventually, it grew with an upcycled shelf, doll bed, and heart-shaped basket! Everything has been attained second hand, upcycled, and handmade to our best ability and greatest luck!
About Bittersweet Designs
"Forever a collector of journals and stationery, I decided to start making my own collection. Fall of 2022, I was introduced to printmaking in a class at Solano Community College and was instantly charmed by the messy ink, the uncoordinated dance of the printing process, and the unique personality of each print. Then, I discovered the art of book binding in relaxing studio vlog videos. I started making repurposed journals not too long after and created this brand about 7 weeks later."

Bittersweet Designs values repurposing materials to create cute, affordable, and useful products and gifts. Every journal is hand-bound and designed by a student artist!

Bittersweet is getting a new journal that you're too nervous to actually use because you don't want to ruin it.
Bittersweet is sending a handwritten letter to a loved one far away, or writing one to your future self.
Bittersweet is the messy lines of a linoprint--Its the stark black ink on pink pearl cardstock--the rough texture of a printed heart.
